Request a room away from the main staircase if you're a light sleeper to avoid disturbances during your stay.

    cozy ambiance
    scrumptious breakfast
    luxurious four-poster bed
    limescale issues

I had a delightful one-night stay here and absolutely loved the cozy ambiance, especially the scrumptious breakfast that rivaled any great country dining experience. The four-poster bed was a luxurious surprise, making for an incredibly relaxing evening. the room had some limescale issues that affected the bath jets, slightly detracting from the experience. I'd gladly return for another stay without hesitation!

    cozy bedding
    serene surroundings
    limited dinner menu
    reheated food
    inconsistent breakfast preparation

The room provided a comfortable retreat with a fantastic bathroom and cozy bedding. While the restaurant's evening meal was enjoyable, the limited menu was a letdown, particularly the reheated roast. The location boasts serene surroundings, ideal for unwinding and exploring. Despite these drawbacks, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding warmth to the experience.

Couples looking for a quiet getaway

The staff was incredibly attentive when we arrived, offering a complimentary upgrade to a lovely room with a huge bathroom and stunning views. Had a great time enjoying the jacuzzi bath after a long day hiking, felt like being pampered after the effort.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still reasonable for what we got.

Charming Stay with a Few Hiccups

The stunning surroundings captivated us immediately. While breakfast was delicious, featuring local produce, the heating issues in our room were frustrating. Despite this, the staff's hospitality shone through, and we enjoyed the cozy family room. I'd recommend checking in early to resolve any issues beforehand.
